League scheduling

Updated

Tourny can generate a full season of games across multiple weeks. You pick the dates, weekly time slots, and game length, and Tourny balances who plays who and when.

How to generate a league schedule

  1. Make sure you've set up your season and added your venues.
  2. Open the Manage tab and select Schedule.
  3. Click Manage schedule to open the schedule editor.
  4. Click Manage games, then select Generate games from the dropdown.
  5. Enter your season's start and end dates, the game length, the time between games, and the maximum number of games per team per day.
  6. Add a time slot for each group: the weekday, the start and end times, and the courts or fields to use.
  7. Add blackout dates for holidays or days your venue isn't available. They're skipped when games are generated.
  8. Generate and review the breakdown: the total number of games, the weekly schedule, how often each team plays each opponent, and each team's courts and times.
  9. Confirm the games, make any changes, and click Save.
