Badminton tournament software

Badminton tournaments have a lot of moving parts: several events, levels and age groups sharing the same courts, and draws that keep growing. Tourny runs each event's draw, sends the next match to the next free court and keeps players up to date between matches.

Tournaments run on Tourny as of October 2026.

Every event shares the same courts

Add singles and doubles events by level or age, like Men's Doubles A, Mixed Doubles B and Women's Singles. Each event runs its own draw, and matches from all of them fill your courts.

Double elimination, so nobody goes home after one match

Use a true double elimination draw, a round robin into knockouts or a straight knockout. Byes are placed for you when entries don't fill the draw.

The next match takes the next free court

Set the order of play once. As each result comes in, the next match is assigned to the free court, and anything that can't start yet waits its turn. Enter game scores like 21-17, 19-21, 21-15, including deuce games like 23-21.

Players see their next match between games

Your event page shows live courts, upcoming matches and every draw. Share it by link or QR code, with no app and no account needed.

Questions organizers ask

Can Tourny run singles and doubles events in one tournament?

Yes. Add each event as a division, for example Men's Doubles A, Mixed Doubles B and Women's Singles. Entries can be a single player or a pair, and every event has its own draw.

Does Tourny place byes automatically?

Yes. When the number of entries doesn't fill a draw, Tourny places byes and moves those players or pairs straight into the next round.

How are badminton scores entered?

Enter the score of each game, for example 21-17, 19-21, 21-15. Standings and draws use games and points, and deuce scores like 23-21 work as expected.

Can I run levels and age groups in the same tournament?

Yes. Add a division for each level or age group and give each its own format, such as double elimination for the open events and a round robin for beginners.

Can players register online?

Yes. You can open registration so players sign up for an event, and collect waivers as part of signing up.

How much does Tourny cost for a badminton tournament?

Setting up and testing your event is free. You pay when you publish: $30 USD per tournament, or $40 CAD for events in Canada. Players, coaches, parents and fans never pay to follow along.
