How to create an event
- Click your profile picture in the top right corner, then select Dashboard.
- Select the Events tab.
- Click New event and choose the type of event:
- Tournament: a one-off event over a few days.
- League: an event that runs over multiple weeks.
- Enter your event's name and sport.
- Add a general location, such as the city. You'll add specific venues later, when you schedule games.
- Choose your dates.
- Optionally, click Edit banner to upload a banner image.
- Click Create.
You'll land on your event's Dashboard, where a setup guide walks you through the next steps: choosing a format, adding teams, and scheduling games.

Q: What is the difference between a tournament and a league?
A: Tournaments are typically one-off events that take place over a short period of time. Leagues are ongoing events that span multiple weeks.

A: When asked what type of event you're organizing, select League. This lets you use formats that include a season.

A: Categories organize teams in a tournament into separate competitions based on criteria such as age, skill, or gender.
